I’m going to NYC tomorrow for a few days and then on to Rhode Island. I’ve looked up stuff to do in New York and there is a Spanish art show at the Met and a feminist show at MOMA. So, all that is exciting, but I’m bummed because I’ve apparently already missed a Ron Mueck show and a John Currin show. The latter would have been great to see because I’ve never seen his work in person. The former would have been even more awesome to see because I’ve only seen his small works and I’m dying to see how he does reality on a huge scale. Are there giant fingerprints?

UPDATE 3/16/07: Scratch all that fun stuff. My plane was cancelled. I’m still going, come hell or high water! On the brightside, now I get to play with a baby and eat at my favorite sushi restaurant at home in Chicago. Delightful.
